About me

Working on Personal Brand Story connects me to my childhood, to the feeling of opening a book excited to learn about the characters’ lives and adventures.

When you get a book you see the title and the cover and you get a first impression, but you don’t know about the journey of the character.

The same happens with my clients. When I first met them, I learned about their names, their headlines… but I don’t know about their defining moments, I don’t know about those parts of their story that made them make big decisions. Those parts that will help me understand why they do what they do, why they work with a certain group of people and why they care about the things that they care about.

That’s the power of sharing your story.

It provides context, showing how you are someone trustworthy.
It provides connection, showing how you are someone relatable.
It provides contrast, showing how you are someone unique.

There was a time when I was also confused, wondering why people would care about my story if I didn’t have an epic, outstanding story. But, you know what?

All of us have a set of special moments that shape and illustrate who we are, that had an impact on our lives, on our point of view, and on how we live our lives.

And those moments are helpful for our audiences. It can inspire them. It shows that there is a human being behind the business.

It can be the push that someone needs to take the next step. And that’s powerful!

You don’t need a Hollywood tale. You just need to explore your own journey with a new angle.

Look for those significant moments that are connected to and emphasize what makes your proposal unique and highly valuable.

My journey

Early reader

One of my first memories is from when I learned to read. I remember the feeling of happiness for being able to decode all kinds of posters and signals. Since then my love of reading and my desire to learn has not decreased.

University

At University, I learned about the communication processes, the foundations of marketing and the principles of persuasive messages.
I’m still amazed at how techniques applied to direct marketing in the 1960s are applicable to email marketing campaigns today. We don’t need to invent the wheel!

Internet

On my first contact with the Internet, I was fascinated by the possibilities it offered. I knew that I wanted to be involved in the new forms of communication that were going to be created. My future was there!
That’s where my interest in online marketing was born.

Digital transformation

One of my greatest professional successes has been to help rescuing a training company and achieve its digital transformation. When I started working there, they barely sold a few classroom courses. After implementing my proposal and transforming one of their programs into an online course, in a few months it became the company’s flagship product and their benefits multiplied.

Virtual Assistant

Moved by my interest in getting in touch with different disciplines and helping online course creators from different cultures and different countries, I started my virtual assistant business. Even if I ended up working from 9 to 9 instead of 9 to 5, it was worth it! I gained a lot of experience and learned invaluable lessons.

Always learning

Being a strong advocate (aka freak) of online courses, not only I help create/sell them but I’m also a regular consumer. Unlike traditional schools and books that may become obsolete, digital courses are the optimal way I’ve found to stay up to date with the latest trends, learn the strategies of the best experts… Always eager to continue learning!

Strategy

One of the greatest milestones of my life (personal and professional) has been to become a strategic consultant for online courses. It means having joined two of my goals: working from anywhere in the world while helping online course creators to a deeper level by creating unique specific strategies for their projects.
